{Meet} Kristin of The Sweet and Sassy

1. How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging since around August, 2015.

2. What do you blog about?

I blog about fashion and lifestyle, and do product reviews, with the occasional recipes that I create myself, or feature from other sources that I have tried and love.

3. Where are you blogging from in NC?

I am located near Raleigh, NC.

4. Why did you start blogging?  

I started blogging to find a creative outlet to feature my love for fashion and how I incorporate it into my busy life as a mom of 2, who works 40 hours a week as a physical therapist managing a clinic in Raleigh! Also to showcase my eye for photography, and my interest in travel and food.

5. Out of all the posts you’ve written, which one (or two) would you pick as your favorite?

6. What blog(s) do you love?

7. What’s one piece of advice you’d share with your fellow bloggers?  

I would try to find a group of fellow bloggers in your niche that have a group or community to bounce ideas off of and to share advice & tips.  I am part of #stylecollective, which is a group of like-minded fashion and style bloggers.  We follow and support each other on Instagram and also have a Facebook group for posting collaboration opportunities, giveaways, and Q & A.

8. What are you looking forward to as a blogger in the upcoming months (conferences, big blog release, book release, publishing, community, redesign, new content, etc)?

In the coming months I am looking forward to growing my Instagram account and hopefully along with that my blog reader audience.  As well as continuing to grow my collaborations with beauty & fashion brands and apply to Reward Style/liketoknow.it in the coming months to help make my IG account and blog posts more easily accessible and profitable.

And finally, is there anything else you’d like to add that you want people to know about you – professional affiliations, any other place they can find you, etc?

I am originally from northeastern Ohio, and have been living in the Triangle area for the past 4 years and I love it! Everyone is so warm and welcoming here.  I also love the weather and abundance of sunshine, which I am definitely not used to! Not to mention only being a couple of hours away from the beach :) I am also a member of TRIfabb.
