I’m heading to the University of Miami tomorrow, getting my education on for WordCamp Miami (#wcmia). I’m looking forward to learning all about WordPress and experimenting with it.
WordPress for Bloggers
When I began using a blogging platform back in 2006, I wasn’t sure which platform I’d like or what the benefits might be on WordPress as opposed to Blogger. Now I’ve been blogging long enough to know that the majority of serious bloggers, use WordPress.
It should be a great weekend and I’m looking forward to connecting with the rest of the South Florida social media influencers.

WordCamp Miami 2011 Update
WordCamp Miami was amazing. I learned so much and it was great to connect with other local bloggers and social media enthusiasts. Here are a few photos from the conference.
All in all, it was a great day packed with information. Did you attend? What did you think? Have you ever been to a WordCamp event? Let me know.
