Get to know Tiffany Haywood (MrsTee) of MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter
1. How long have you been blogging?
I actually published my first post near the end of July of 2013 but I celebrated my 1 year Blog Anniversary (or as we bloggers love to call them – Blogiversary) in August. So I have been blogging a little bit over a year now.
2. What do you blog about?
MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter is about me, MrsTee and the 3 things that make me who I am: the Love of my faith and family, the Life we have been blessed to have together and the Laughter we experience through it all. I wanted to pick a name and identity for my blog that would fit who I was as a person since that is what I planned on writing about. I think that just about any topic I choose to share can fit into at least one of these parts of my site and my personality.
3. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging to give release to the many poems, short stories, testimonies and encouraging words that until now have only found voice in my journals. I wanted a way to gain feedback and actually impact someone. Hopefully something I have written or shared has caused someone to say “I can relate to that.” If so, then my reason for blogging is worth it all.
4. What is your FAVORITE post you’ve ever written (you can pick 2)?
Wow. This is always so hard. When I wrote the most recent post, He Called Me in my series Finding My True Path {a series} it was the one that took me the longest to actually place in words. I felt I was exposing myself the most through this post because I was retelling my call to the ministry and where I feel I have fallen short in that call. I am so grateful for my readers and followers who showed me nothing but support, understanding and encouragement. I know that my journey to my true path is not done yet and I look forward to where it will take me next.
The second post I will choose as my favorite would have to be Senior Pictures: Our Life Full Circle. This was another post that took me a bit deeper than I thought it would. I knew that reaching this point with my teenager would be meaningful but when it actually happened I couldn’t help but think to how far we had come and where he was now headed.
5. What blog do you love?
Oh my goodness, do I really need to choose just one? Okay. If I have to pick only one I would say Mrs AOK, A Work In Progress because I visit her site faithfully. I know whenever I stop by her bit of blogland I can find humor, advice, encouragement and even a bit of DIY craftiness. She is all about her family, supporting friends and empowering mothers. We have worked together on several hops, linkUps and giveaways and I consider her to be a true friend.
6. What is your biggest piece of advice for other bloggers?
Be yourself. It is always great to follow the examples of successful bloggers but never try to BE them. You are who you are and you are the best at being that. Trying to imitate another person, their style or even their approach to what they do will end up taking much more effort than it ever would to be you and be you well. I always believe that there are readers and followers for each of us. Those people who are meant to hear my story. Those are the people I write for.
7. What are you looking forward to for you as a blogger in the upcoming months (conferences, big blog release, book release, publishing, community, redesign, new content, etc)?
Well, first I am so excited about being a part of the NCBlogger Network as a Regional Ambassador. Ever since I started my blog, I have known and experienced the importance of having a community and support system. I can’t wait to connect and reach out to my fellow Fayetteville, NC bloggers and experience that community in a real life way.
I am also very excited about attending my very first blog conference, SITSGirls Bloggy Boot Camp in ATL in a few weeks. I can’t wait to meet some of my blogger bffs face-to-face. I also know that the knowledge, connections and experience will help me to take my site to the next step in my journey.
Lastly, I am super happy about the continued success of a YouTube Hop I started called Your Channel Or Mine. I was in the process of developing my YouTube channel and noticed that there was a need for a place to share new videos and blogs the same way we share new posts. We have been posting weekly growth and participation for nearly 2 months now connecting Vloggers and Vlogs with each other and helping them to gain exposure and support.

I hope you’re going to fill us in on the SITS Bloggy Boot Camp. I wish I was going! I always love to hear more about bloggers and I feel like I know you a little bit better now. Even though I’m still jelly that NC has a blogger network and SC doesn’t. :)
