Last week I attended a networking event for bloggers in North Carolina (more on that tomorrow!) and ever since my head has been spinning about blogging. Monetizing blogs, SEO optimization, Pinterest, social media, etc, etc. So hopefully I don’t upset anyone with having two blogging posts in a row ;).
One thing that has been on my mind a TON lately is media kits. What are they? Why do they matter? How do you make one?
I’ve been doing a ton of research lately about this and wanted to share some things I’ve learned.
One thing I have heard time and time again is that no matter what size blog you have (or how new your blog is) you should have a media kit. Media kits show that you take your blog seriously and you think you have something to offer brands.
