Hello New York!
Hello New York! We had a family trip to New York recently. It wasn’t a vacation but I tried to make it as enjoyable as possible for the Dayngrous Duo. They loved their very first trip to New York, the Big Apple, and can’t wait to return again. New York is a very exciting place for them! I think the subway was the kids’ favorite with taxi rides being a close second, though they loved being able to walk everywhere and experience all sorts of new sights and sounds.

Fall was in full effect in NYC and we got to enjoy a little cool weather, which was a nice change for all of us. Most of all, the kids couldn’t believe all the parks and beautiful places in the middle of such a big city. They thought NYC was just busy streets and lots of building before they got to see it for themselves.

Hello NY!
The photo of the Statue of Liberty {above} was taken from the Staten Island Ferry. It was the kids’ first time seeing it and it was so wonderful and heartwarming to be able to share the experience with them. What a thrill. I even took them to one of my favorite spots, Burgers and Cupcakes.
Remind me to tell you about the time we accidentally wandered into Occupy Wall Street. Oh yes, there are pictures. Always an adventure when you travel with me.

I am sure it was an amazing trip! NYC always is. There are so many things to love about it like Serendipity 3, the buildings, the hustle & bustle, Central Park, China Town, Little Italy, and on & on.

I’ve only been once. It was a layover & I got stranded for the night. I didn’t get to experience much because I was only there for a short time. I soooo would love to go, I always hear such amazing things about it!
