Fun at the School Book Fair
Last month, we went to the school book fair! It’s one of the most exciting experiences for the kids and it always reminds me how much I loved the book fair when I was in school. If I’m being honest, I still love a good book fair! They couldn’t wait to go and they really enjoyed looking at all the books they had to choose from.
Rex, who has just started to enjoy reading now, picked out 4 books. One, which isn’t shown here, was put aside until he’s a little older. I didn’t want to deny him getting it, since he’s just started to get enthusiastic about reading. But since it was related to WWE, I didn’t think it was age-appropriate. (That’s his dad’s influence, not mine) Though I tried to encourage him to choose a few more, he was satisfied with just the titles shown below.
His top picks: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Go, Go, Go! and Five Fast Tales.

My kids love books. I always get suckered into buying a lot at book fairs and monthly book orders. I don’t feel overly guilty about it, though. I think it’s so important to read!

Man, I love the book fair too! It was my favorite as a kid, and as a teacher? love it more!

I ran across your blog post and just wanted to say I’m very glad your daughter likes The Pout-Pout Fish In The Big-Big Dark and that both Lola and Charlie enjoy books so much. Happy Reading!
