When I met Dan and Rachel, I had just spent the past two years learning from, interacting with, listening to and speaking alongside most the world’s greatest blogging, digital marketing, and social media strategists minds. It was my full-time job to be not only up to date but be among those that broke the news of new tools or platform developments. I could sniff out false or outdated information within seconds of a presenter speaking.
I have to admit, I thought I was pretty hot stuff and my opinions were fairly ruthless at the time.
Then in May of 2014, I was attending a homeschool conference that had recently added on a blogging conference for homeschool parents that blog. Since I hadn’t recognized any other speakers right away, I assumed I would already know what they had to say. (I told you, I was ruthless.)
Dan and Rachel started the day presenting together and they immediately had me hooked.
Not only were they charismatic, but they were also comfortable in their knowledge! They were telling us things that I knew only people that stayed on top of the latest information would know. Within about 7 minutes I knew I was going to be able to learn from them.
They were talking about topics I never heard other professionals mention and they were doing it with the most up to date information available! I sat back, let my guard down and started to take everything in. During the day they proved over and over again that they didn’t look at the world like the rest of us. Their approach was like nothing I had encountered.
They looked at the challenge of making a full-time income at blogging simply: as a wall you can either go over, around, under or through. It is merely up to you as to how you wanted them to help. But they can get you there.
This is why I chose Blogging Concentrated to come to North Carolina. One of our top goals as a network is to bring information and education that you can trust and wouldn’t normally have access to.
But let’s take this back a little and talk just you and me together, okay? Are you listening?
Most of us have read tons of information on blogging and have attended, if not spoke at, a few conferences. Let’s take note of this: we have all been trying the same thing for a little while now. We see others succeeding and that is why we are attending the conferences that those bloggers are going to. That is why we are reading the books and blogs that they recommend.
If this describes you and you are still not where you want to be in your blog, it means you need to pivot your strategy, try something new to discover what will work for you.
This conference is your something new.
I know you are working hard. I know that you are juggling a million things and some days you feel like you just can’t add one more thing. I know that you travel and couldn’t see how one more day away from your family seems fair. I know that for some of you paying the $149 for one day or $225 for both days, seems unattainable.
But it’s not.
I ask you if you are doing the same things and getting the same results, how is it ever going to change? This conference can be your lifeline.
