Happy Throwback Thursday blog buddies! You may remember our Asheville Blogger Meet-Up back in March, it was a big hit! We’d love to meet more bloggers and plan more meet-ups throughout the state. If you’re interested, be sure to let us know!

I love connecting with other writers. I find them absolutely fascinating, regardless of age, experience or genre. Get a group of writers together and you have a vibrant feeding frenzy of energy and ideas! I had such an experience this week when I attended a Blogger Meet-Up at Twisted Laurel in Asheville sponsored by NC Blogger Network. WOW, did the evening get fun right from the get-go!
The phenomenal staff at Twisted Laurel set up our group in the Daphne Room, a beautiful private dining space upstairs. Fresh cut flowers hung from the ceiling. The table was dressed to impress. Take a peak at some photos from the evening taken by my new friend, Rebecca Ludwig, of Rosey Rebecca (featured photo creds to Rebecca too!).
We talked, we laughed, we shared tips on content creation and best of all we enjoyed the food! Of course I was completely enchanted by the food. After a hearty round of appetizers served by an incredibly enthusiastic staff, we ordered dinner. Check OUT the menu! I chose the Spanakopita with Greek Salad. STOP. Yes. So good.
Then the staff brought out a round of sweet treats. STOP. Yes. Even better!

Have we talked about how much I adore blogger meet-ups?
Especially ones that include cute jars of flowers dangling from the ceiling.
About a month ago I started talking to Julie from Running in a Skirt and she told me about the North Carolina Blogger Network and a meet-up they were hosting at Twisted Laurel in downtown Asheville at the end of March. I signed up for it right away!
I was super excited to go to Twisted Laurel because it’s one of the first restaurants Jeff and I went to when we visited Asheville before we moved here last fall.
Our meet-up was held in the Daphne Room, Twisted Laurel’s beautiful private dining space.
I was also super excited to meet a bunch of local AVL bloggers!
