Use Your Computer to Support Troops

This holiday season, you can send a heartfelt message of support to a service member through our Holiday Love™ project—all from the comfort of your computer chair. At eMail Our Military, we’ve made it easier than ever to brighten a troop’s day with just a few simple steps. Everyone can do it, and it makes a huge difference in the lives of our brave men and women serving far from home.

Here’s how you can get involved: Write a letter of support and encouragement to a service member using your computer. Your letter doesn’t have to be long or complicated—just a simple “Thank you for your service,” and a little about you and your family will go a long way in lifting their spirits. You can add some fun seasonal clip art to make your letter festive, or if you prefer, pick up some holiday-themed stationery from a local store. Most office supply shops, as well as retailers like Target and Walmart, carry a variety of seasonal supplies to add a special touch to your letter.

For example, the photo above is just one of the thoughtful letters we received from a student. It doesn’t take much to make a meaningful impact, and a little creativity goes a long way!

Sending Your Letters

Once your letter is ready, print off as many copies as you’d like to support multiple troops. For example, one letter can brighten the day of one service member, and 10 copies can do the same for 10. Gather all your letters and send them to us in one big envelope—there is no need to buy individual envelopes unless you’d like to, but if you do, please don’t seal them.

Other Ways to Contribute

If you’d rather send store-bought holiday cards, those are also an excellent option! Please spread the word to your friends and family, get them involved in the project, and most importantly, have fun knowing you’re making a difference this holiday season.
