This is a lesson in Social media in action. I met Trish through Twitter. We collaborated on a project called Operation Soldier Care. It started out as a small project for me to find people to help me to send more summer care packages to our troops. Within the first week, we surpassed the original goal of $550 due to Trishâs strong social media presence. Seeing the potential of this project to impact more even more military men and women, we boldly raised the goal to $5,000. In 3 weeks, Trish managed to get more contributors using social media. I enjoyed working with Trish so much, that I was actually sad to see the project end.â
