Hi Allison & Sarah!
I’m so glad that I stumbled upon this site. I am a virtual assistant living in Charlotte, NC! Can you believe it? I partner with life & health/wellness coaches in their efforts to build a successful online marketing strategy & presence. I love the information that was shared in this episode. I’m glad that Sarah explained that we, as VAs, cannot be you, the blogger or client. We can help you build and sustain relationships, manage your business responsibilities/tasks, etc. But, I cannot be the voice of your business. Only you can articulate your points of view with your level of authenticity and passion. That’s why I encourage all of my clients to write their own blogs or content. Then, I can help them distribute their content online.
To those thinking about becoming a VA or are searching for a VA, there are several types of VAs out there. And we manage our businesses differently. For example, while some VAs focus on hourly retainers (as mentioned in the video), some of us package according to an outcome/end result. Also, I focus on building relationships and not clientele. Which means I believe in partnering with my clients. Therefore, I fully invest myself into their business. I like to say, “I’m your biggest cheerleader”. So, take your time in finding the best VA that is not only a great fit for your budget but for you and your business.
Thanks again for sharing this wonderful conversation with us!
